Robert MacGinnis Art Reception

I helped coordinate an art reception for artist Robert MacGinnis on September 27th. Hosted by Terry Schandel and Jan Bowersock at Terry's lovely estate, Quisisana, the event was enjoyed by all. With several sales and commissions, we feel the event was very successful. We are truly grateful for all that attended, for Jean-Marie Chapman's wonderful help, and for the absolutely beautiful day. You can follow Robert on his blog at http://macginnisstudio.blogspot.com/.

Out My Back Door by Virgil L. Harper

Virgil Harper, a cinematographer in the film industry by trade, has self-published a fabulous book, Out My Back Door, which showcases artistic photographs of abandoned vehicles, old homesteads and lovely scenes that he finds near his ranch in Terrebonne, Oregon. To view his work and find out more about the book, please visit his website: http://www.vlharper-photography.com/. This book is absolutely fantastic. Really!

Making a Difference for Charities

Mike Anderson, Membership Director of Portland Metropolitan Photographers Association (PMPA) has a new website that promotes Making a Difference for Charities - One Piece of Art at a Time.  Mike donates his fine art photography prints to help raise funds for many non-profit organizations.  He donated 2 pieces to the Silent Auction of Art that I coordinated for FACES Foundation's Concert Under the Stars.  Please check it out.  http://www.artisticphotoexpression.com/.
