Window Dresses

While on a day trip from Toronto to Niagara Falls with our friends, we stopped in the charming town of Niagara on the Lake. I wish we could have stayed much longer to explore this beautiful town, but it was just a quick stop. Perhaps one day I will return. Using my photograph taken of a shop window there, I created this art piece utilizing Photoshop effects, brush strokes, background textures, and overlays.

What a Surprise

I was totally surprised when I received messages yesterday congratulating me on my charcoal drawing "Dance" winning 1st Place in one of the many online contest I have entered on FAA. I was having a frustrating day when everything that could go wrong seemed to be the main agenda of the day, and then two beautiful messages come along and lift me out of the muck.
