JANOVEC STUDIO/GALLERY - FIRST FRIDAY - March 4th

“FOCUS ON WOMEN”, an ART EXHIBIT AND BENEFIT FOR MADELINE MEZA JANOVEC, will be presented by The Oregon Women’s Caucus for Art in celebration of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day. This exhibit will showcase the work of OWCA artists and invited guests in a variety of mediums, including paintings, photographs, and prints. It will also celebrate the contributions of the OWCA founder and Janovec Gallery owner, Madeline Meza Janovec, who is undergoing treatment for cancer. To benefit Janovec, a percentage of all sales will be donated to help defray the costs of her medical treatment. Janovec's work will also be available for sale, and one of her hand-crafted pieces of jewelry will be raffled.


The Oregon Women’s Caucus for Art, a chapter of the national caucus, which was formed in 1972 to support women artists, was formed in 1987 mainly through the efforts of Madeline Janovec who has been the guiding force of the chapter for almost 25 years. Art Benefit for American Cancer Society

Cowgirl at Heart is having its yearly Art Show and Sale on Saturday, November 6th from 11 AM to 7 PM. The artists will be present for a reception from 4-7 PM.  10% of all sales will be donated to the American Cancer Society. In addition to paintings, there will also be many unique gifts made by local artists.

daVinci's Ristorante Italiano on McLoughlin Blvd will also feature many paintings by this group of artists, and will be serving delicious Italian hors d'oeuvres between 2-4 PM.
